Why is my VPS not immediately ready?

When you order a VPS from NodeSpace, you may receive a welcome email shortly after placing your order. This email typically confirms that your VPS is active and includes important details such as your IP address, username, and password. However, you may find that your VPS is not immediately accessible or fully operational. This is normal, and here's why:

Why the Delay?

While your VPS is technically "active" once the welcome email is sent, there are additional processes that need to be completed before your server is fully ready for use. Our system follows a series of automated steps to ensure your VPS is properly set up and secure. These steps can take several minutes to complete, especially during peak times or if additional configurations are required.

How Long Does It Take?

On average, these processes are completed within 5 to 15 minutes after you receive your welcome email. During busy periods, it may take up to 30 minutes for all processes to finish.

What Should You Do?

If your VPS is still unavailable after 30 minutes, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Refresh your browser or reconnect to your VPS control panel.

  2. Check your email inbox for any additional notifications from our system.

  3. Review the welcome email to confirm your login details and ensure you're connecting to the correct IP address.

  4. Contact our support team if the delay exceeds 30 minutes or if you encounter any errors.

Conclusion

We understand that you’re eager to start using your VPS right away, and we appreciate your patience while our system completes the necessary setup steps. If you have any concerns, our support team is here to help ensure your VPS is fully operational as quickly as possible.
